Let's go on a hay ride.

We went to the pumpkin patch with
the kindergarten. Benjamin and I had a great time with all of the kids. Coleman loves to have all the attention focused on him, and he had a large audience that day with the entire Kindergarten class--100 kids. We went on a hay ride, played a pumpkin relay race, and picked pumpkins. This was all after a lengthy lesson from farmer pumpkin on the different types of "punkins" and how a "punkin" looks inside. He was a hoot. Coleman actually loved the bus ride the most for the trip as everyone is contained and not distracted away from his performances. And poor Benjamin never got the idea that the pumpkins were not big balls to throw. As you can see in his picture he is saying baah (ie. Ball).

Here are my 2 missing teeth

We promised that he lost two teeth in the same weekend, but we had yet to get a picture with both. Here it is. He tells everyone, "My Nana pulls teeth better than anyone." She pulled tooth number 2 that weekend. He was so traumatized by the tooth pulling episode. He is my own personal DRAMA KING.

Even Mozart Needed Bathing

Here is Benjamin right out of a bath. Playing the theme from babyland in G flat symphony. LOL.. He is so excited to play. He can't get enough. Coleman and I are taking lessons with Mrs. Joyce, and he just wants to play too. Makes me wonder about his enthusiasm....Hmmmm maybe he will be like Grandaddy a great pianist.

All I need is My Two Front teeth

Coleman lost both of his teeth one weekend. Here is a picture of number one he lost. He was tramatized until it was out and then he was excited to go to bed to see the tooth fairy. He got 3 dollars and change for both teeth. This was the third of four teeth he has lost so far. I keep thinking--teeth coming in pain for Benjamin and pain coming out for Coleman. We are very teeth sensitive right now..HAHA!!!

First Day of Kindergarten

One of the saddest days of my life came in August this year. I was truly more sad than I had ever experienced. Coleman is "big" now and in Kindergarten. I sent him off into the cruel world 8/24/2006. Here Donnie and I are escorting him to school to meet Mrs. Rowden his teacher and leave him is first day...Boo Hoo. It took me about a month to get over crying everyday. I just could not believe how lonely I was without Coleman. Thank God for Benjamin. He and I are enjoying are days now.

Coleman's Birthday Party

Yes, I know Coleman's party was here and closer to his birthday. He had his friend Abby and brother Caden come over and play in the sprinkler with him. Aunt Jenn and Hank enjoyed the festivities as well. Coleman had tons of presents as he is "into" the hotwheel thing. Mom and I were glad to see that hotwheels are an inexpensive "thing" to be "into." We were all glad as Coleman sometimes had expensive gift and clothing ideas. The picture of Caden playing in the water and Hank in full Hank fashion playing with his cars is one of the highlights of the party. Benjamin was very excited about the dinosaurs that Abby and Caden gave Coleman.

Benjamin's first Birthday!

Okay so it was not much, but the thought was what counted. We were so crazy busy before we left for the trip we had to wait till Middle of July to have the party. Nana (my mom) insisted on the cake and candle. We were down there visiting her new home in Austin, AR. Of course, she got sick right before the party and was not able to have any cake. He was quite delicate at first as he did not know what to think of the cake. Well as you can see......... the rest is history.

Hanging out with Hank

As soon as we were back from the trip to Tenn. We had to catch up on our Hank and Jenn withdrawals. Hank and Benjamin are about 5 months apart in age so they are becoming fast friends as his mom and I.

Tenn Trip Cont....

Seems that when we all get together we need to really bond by vomiting. So, again as a replay of Christmas...Benjamin started the illness that spread throughout the entire house. Luckily we were not all sick at the same time, so we still were able to enjoy each day with each other as some were home in bed. We went to Splash Country (a water park) and to Dollywood (a theme park) several times that week. We all rode the rides and played till our hearts content. Stephanie, Coleman, Donnie and I were the only dare devils in the bunch as we rode all of the Scary ride (Scott and Graham terms). We all had a great time. I love spending time with Scott and the kids. We are planning this type of trip every year.

First Family Vacation

Here we were getting on the plane in NWA. Thanks to Scott we avoided the drive. Next stop Scotts and a fully packed week of fun and adventure. First day to the Lake with Sharon, Scotty, Tyson, Carl, and all of us of course. Scott bought a new Jet Ski that was the height of the fun the whole week for my boyz. They loved it and couldn't talk about anything else when we got home. All of the kids except Benjamin got to ride. I even was "forced" to take a ride. I am not sure about them at all.

Forth of July Party At The "Little Church"

Here we are hanging out with our friends on the Wednesday night before the 4th of July. We are all such great friends. We "hang out" together every Wednesday for Keepers of the Faith--somewhat like scouts for Christ.

Super Sunday Swimmers

After the hot game we came home and went to the pool with Amber, Josie and Declan. The slide was a hit for Coleman and Josie. Declan and Benjamin were more for the jump from the side of the pool game. We played and splashed in the pool for a couple of hours before we went to their house for dinner. BJ is not so much on the pool so he waited at home for us to get the pool time out of us.

First TBall game

The first TBall game went great! Coleman's team got several outs on the other team. The other team only got them out once during the whole game. He was very proud. He is a Mud Cat. He thinks this is way cool...He even had his nickname put on the back of his shirt!

Who Ate my Mac N Cheese?

Self feeding is such a fun experience. I just put some macaroni and cheese on the high chair tray and this is what happend. I was gone to VBS with Coleman and Daddy took all the pictures and the bath.

Super Sunday!

Aunt Jenn found the wagon and the boys are taking it for a spin! Hank gets a kick out of it as Benjamin stays serious about the ride. He does not want to get out....just keep it moving.
Daddy spent the day outside with Jenn, Hank, Coleman, Benjamin and I while we played and had some fun!
Hank and Jenn came over and we have now found a new use for the wagon again (it has been collecting dust and spiders since Coleman outgrew).

Busy Saturday!

Here is Coleman getting his badges from the "Little Church" he attends on Wednesday night. He is learning many things and loves his Wednesday night friends. His teacher Mrs. Joyce is giving him his honors.

Here are the kids performing for us at the badge ceremony. They are singing "Lord Prepare Me to Be a sanctuary." The other picture is of all the badges and sashes blue for boys and red for girls.

Benjamin and his walker toy!

Benjamin is walking! He loves his little toy that his Grandma got him (Donnie's Mom). He is "walking" all over the place.

Jenn has come home

Jennifer and Hank (and her husband Dave of course) have moved back to Fayetteville. I am happy that they are here with us again. I missed them terribly when they lived in Tulsa, OK. These are pictures of Jennifer and Coleman and Hank. Coleman was camera happy and taking pictures.

Everyone is in the hospital

This weekend the 26, 27 and 28th we (Benjamin and I) went to visit Gran (in Searcy, AR) and Mom (in Little Rock, AR) in the hospital. We were told we were the best medicine they could get. Mom is now out of the hospital recovering at home and Gran is moving to the nursing home Tuesday May 30th.

Coleman at his picnic with his school

This is the last chance Coleman got to play with his friends from school at the after school picnic on Friday May 26th. They ate sandwiches, played and fed the ducks. Benjamin just hung out in the stroller and watched in amazement.

The Wheelers Graduation night

here we are going to Coleman's big graduation from pre-school. We are all very proud of our Coleman.

Kids at home playing

Here are the kids at home on the floor playing together. Not a first but rare occasion with no one crying. lol

Coleman School

This top picture is Coleman's first day of pre-school. The bottom is his last day of pre-school. He has surely changed. His teacher is named Mrs. Dawn and the school was the First United Methodist Church Creative School in Springdale.

This is more of Christmas in Branson 2005

We stayed in a Condo for a couple of nights with Mom and Dad. The kids loved to wrestle with dad. We also went to see a friend Melody and her kids. She is from Des Arc where I grew up and plays fiddle/sings for a show in Branson.

The Wheelers December 2005

This was taken at the train station at Silver Dollar City at Christmas. We got season passes from Scott for Christmas and were enjoying the lights.
